Receive an additional $2/person off of our already reduced group-admission rates when you sign up for any 180-, 90-, or 50-minute Focused Field Trip!
We offer a range of Focused Field Trips from teacher-planned and -guided to totally immersive, full-day experiences led by Museum faculty.
Wayfinders
Best for teachers planning their own visit, our Wayfinders will direct you to the Museum exhibits most suited for your grade level, suggest activities for your students and provide questions to explore.
Field Kits
To make your self-guided visit even more meaningful, pick up one of our free Field Kits. These pre-designed, 20-minute lessons come with materials and directions to enhance our exhibits in Explore the Wild. They're easy to tote and easy to implement!
50-minute Focused Field Trips
Is there a science topic that you find intimidating? Are you missing the resources necessary to bring your lesson to life? Treat your students, and yourself, to a private science lesson facilitated by Museum faculty.
90-minute Focused Field Trips
Just like our 50-minute Focused Field Trips, but with an extension of the best parts! Ask more questions, meet more animals or enjoy private-access to some of the Museum's most popular exhibits. Check out specfic topics for details.
180-minute Focused Field Trips
Our most in-depth field trip experience! 180-minute Focused Field Trips make the most of Museum exhibits and current technology to teach science. Whether they log animal behaviors, master physics on the sailboat pond or run water-quality tests on the Museum's wetland, your students are the scientists.
