Join us for an evening learning the Science behind Beer.  Explore the Magic Wings Butterfly House* and outdoor garden while trying your hand at beer experiments and activities.  Local breweries and even some home brew enthusiasts will be available to share their expertise.

Guests will also enjoy live music, beer tasting and light snacks.  Find a beer you like? Glasses, bottles of beer and additional samples will be available for purchase during the night.

Don't have a baby sitter? Enroll your kids
in the Science of Root Beer program which
is taking place at the same time!

While you are enjoying the Science of Beer, drop your kids off at a program just for them!  We’ll explore the mixing and measuring of chemistry while brewing home-made root beer and even spend some time with the “residents” of the Bayer CropScience Insectarium in Magic Wings Butterfly House!Pre-registration required.  Program ONLY for the children of those attending the Science of Beer event.
